 Makes no sense to me. They regulated the oil and gas companies out of New Mexico to drill in other states. Drop some of the regulations and allow these companies to drill for natural gas here.

Remember, Ben Lujan is the same character that brought us 'Tax Lightning' AND now the .5% GRT increase. I have to dub this guy as Mr. Tax Man.

2) 2010 House Bill 282 (Create New Tax Credits)  by admin on January 1, 2001 
Introduced in the House on February 3, 2010, to create a tax credit for the owner of a vehicle who converts it from using gasoline to using natural gas, equaling 70% of the cost of vehicle conversion; and a tax credit for owners of a retail gasoline station who install equipment for dispensing natural gas into motor vehicles, equaling 50% of the cost of purchasing and installing pumps or other devices to dispense natural gas

The vote was 64 in favor, 3 opposed and 3 not voting
