To paraphrase Disraeli, there are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and legislative titles.  From what I hear, this bill is a liquor industry trojan horse to restrict direct shipment of wine to consumers. If you like high quality wine, or prefer freedom, this is not your bill.

Government regulation always -- always -- favors those with money to buy it, and in this case that's the national distributors who only want to buy from huge producers, and sell to huge purchasers.  Their goal is a wine pipeline from the few according to their willingness to cut production corners, to the few according to their advertising budget, and thence to the many according to their lack of knowledge, experience, and taste -- may they never develop any of those.

Contact your -- probably Democrat -- legislator and tell him or her that you know about the shell game of legislative titles and that you resent the legislature thinking your as dumb as it is.  HeSheIt will probably agree.
