• Introduced by Rep. Elias Barela (D) on January 17, 2008, to appropriate $3,000,000 to pay for an overpass over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad on State Route 109 just south of Lazy Lane near Jarales in Valencia County. A similar project at Aragon Road, 2.55 miles north on the same rail line, is currently under construction at a total cost of $6,800,000.
